Cressex pupils unleash their creative monsters
Led by Andy Jones, author of Shine and The Boy Who Steals Houses, through galaxy invasions, to climbing mountains blindfolded, to eating sardine and pickle sandwiches, students worked tirelessly in their writing laboratories creating their monsters.
Students’ stories will be entered into a competition with teachers voting for the ones they like best. There will be prizes for the winners. Organiser Miss Choudhury said:
"Creativity cannot be taught. Children naturally have the gift of creativity, but it has to be discovered and nurtured. If you don't believe in the magic, you'll never see it, and our students did some magical work today.”
