Our curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of our learners and employers. We are offering a bespoke package which includes not only academic studies but also an Enrichment Programme including work experience and off site visits.

Pathway 1 - 1 year programme
Pathway 2 - 2 year programme

Entry requirements

Pathway 1 - 4 GCSEs, grades 3 and above, including English and Maths

Pathway 2 - 4 GCSEs, grades 4 and above, including English and Maths or an equivalent course; or Distinction in BTEC Technical Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development, Level 2 or equivalent, including Grade 4 in GCSE English and GCSE Maths.

CCS receives predictions from subject teachers

CCS sends a letter inviting student for an interview

RESULTS DAY Thursday 22nd August 2024 If results match entry criteria, student will have their place at Sixth Form confirmed. If results do not match chosen pathway then student needs to arrange an interview with the Sixth Form Team to discuss options. Please note that all courses will be confirmed by late August 2024 and they will only run if viable. Students are therefore advised to also consider applying elsewhere so that they have a suitable alternative as a second choice.
