Staying Safe - Youth Action
Rebecca Hickman, the Governor responsible for Student Voice, and Dr. Katy Simmons, Chair of the School Governing Board, attended the inaugural Youth Watch meeting. This initiative, led by staff members Laura Hart and Beth Saunders in collaboration with Geoff Pegg from Neighbourhood Watch (Wycombe District), launched an Action for Youth project aimed at raising community safety awareness among our students.
Around 40 student ambassadors, representing our Student Voice, participated in the meeting. They received inputs from representatives of Neighbourhood Watch, Thames Valley Police, Buckinghamshire County Council, Trading Standards, and Public Health England. This project will allow our students to highlight their safety priorities to local authorities.
