WE MET DEADPOOL!!!
Year 10 students had the amazing opportunity to attend the Futures Festival 2025 at UK’s largest film and TV studio, Pinewood.
Students from Cressex met employers and industry professionals, participated in workshops, attended panel discussions and registered for various clubs and classes.
The Futures Festival 2025 is set become Europe’s largest free careers event for aspiring professionals looking to start a career in the Film & TV industry.
During this trip, students had the chance to tour the studios where some of the biggest film industries, such as Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm (Star Wars), bring their cinematic magic to life.
They got to meet iconic characters like Darth Vader, The Mandalorian, Stormtroopers, R2-D2, Deadpool, Isa Durand, Luke Skywalker (both old and young), and Princess Leia. Immersed in the realm of super spies, superheroes, and faraway galaxies, the experience inspired, engaged, and encouraged students to explore careers in the screen industry.
