Governors
Could you be a school governor?
The Cressex Community School in High Wycombe is always looking to strengthen its Governing Board by appointing new members. We are a Cooperative School, with a successful Cooperative Trust.
Could you be that person that adds value to our governing board?
Would you like to be a volunteer, supporting a successful, multi-cultural school by joining its committed, inclusive and hard-working Governing Board? Not been a governor before? We’d be glad to explain the responsibilities you would be taking on and can offer training.
You will need time to attend our meetings – two each half term, in the evening. Plus time to look at papers before meetings, attend training, make visits to the school, offer advice and think strategically about the school’s resources.
In return, you will be part of a friendly group, with one clear aim – to increase opportunities and improve outcomes for Cressex students.
Every school will face financial challenges in coming years. Would you like to help Cressex School overcome those challenges?
Cressex Community School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All Governors will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and online searches may be done as part of due diligence checks prior to joining the Governing Board.
