2022 - Another year of very strong GCSE results
Students and staff at Cressex Community School are celebrating another year of very strong results.
Despite the challenges and impact of Covid, 61% of students gained 5 passes at grade 4 and above, including English and maths. The highest percentage ever of exams were passed at the top grades, with over 69% achieving 5 or more standard passes in any subject.
Interim Headteacher Shabbir commented: “We are delighted with the success of our students. They have overcome many challenges presented to them during the pandemic and should be proud of their achievements both in terms of their attainment and their progress. Many congratulations to the students on the fruits of their efforts, and my sincere thanks to the hard-working staff of the school and parents for their support.”
